Title
APPROVING OF REPAYMENT AGREEMENT WITH FOGERTY ICE ARENA
Background
Fogerty Ice Arena has requested and received approval from the City to build a Curling Rink facility as an addition to their existing Ice Arena. In order to add the Curling Rink facility an existing athletic field needed to be relocated. The City Council asked Fogerty Ice Arena to participate in the cost of relocating the athletic field to the west of Fogerty Arena.
The Fogerty Ice Arena Board has agreed to pay $175,000 towards the costs of relocating the Athletic Field. This would be done through a lease payment that is outlined in the attached Repayment Agreement.

WHEREAS, Fogerty Ice Arena has requested and has received approval to add an expansion for a Curling Facility to their existing facility, and;
WHEREAS, the expanded Curling Facility will necessitate the moving of an existing athletic field in Aquatore Park, and;
WHEREAS, Fogerty Arena has agreed to pay $175,000 to assist in the costs of the relocation of the athletic field through the proposed Repayment Agreements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Blaine City Council adopt the Repayment Agreement for Fogerty Arena.
