AUTHORIZE THE CITY TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH SRF CONSULTING GROUP, INC. TO PROVIDE SERVICES FOR THE RELOCATION OF AQUATORE PARK FIELD #1 IN THE AMOUNT OF $26,404.
Background
In expectation of the construction of Fogerty Curling Rink, staff prepared a Request For Proposal (RFP) to perform consulting services for relocating Aquatore Park Field #1.
The RFP services requested are project management, design services and construction services. This includes salvaging all lights and fencing from the existing field and constructing a new field north of Field #2. Staff directly mailed the RFP to three firms and two responded. Public Services and Public Works staff reviewed the proposals and chose SRF Consultants due to lower cost and a more detailed and complete proposal. The contract amount is $26,404 and SRF Consultants has a good track record with City projects, including Lakeside Commons Park.
Recommendation
By motion, authorize the City to enter into contract with SRF Consulting Group, Inc. to Provide Services for the Relocation of Aquatore Park Field #1 in the Amount of $26,404.
