Executive Summary
Council is asked to approve a tobacco and tobacco products license which will allow the applicant to sell tobacco products.
Background
Hazem Alzamara, applicant of Super USA Gas Plus, Inc., has applied for a tobacco and tobacco products license for Super USA Gas at 12080 Central Avenue NE. The applicant has met the licensing requirements by completing all necessary forms and paying associated fees. The former license holder has closed the station and Mr. Alzamara will be reopening.
The Blaine Police Department conducted a background investigation and no concerns were found. Issuance of the license is contingent upon certificate of occupancy. If approved, the tobacco license will be effective through December 31, 2022.
