Background
Happy Acres Playground - The smaller equipment was painted to match the new equipment.
Happy Acres Parking Lot - The bid was accepted at the September 6. 2022 council meeting. The Parks CIP budget will be amended, and the project has started to get ready for the winter skating season.
Band shell update - Staff will be bringing the band shell project back to the council on October 17. 2022.
Centennial Green and Territorial Parks courts are being re - constructed starting the week of September 26. Sunram Construction is the contractor.
World Fest was Saturday, September 17 from 1 to 4 pm at Tom Ryan Park. The event was a huge success with close to 1,000 attendees.
Staff hosted a 40th celebration of the Mary Ann Young Center on Tuesday, September 20.
The Mary Ann Young Center will host its Harvest Dinner on Thursday, September 29. There are 170 seniors registered for the event.
Oktoberfest is October 1 from 3 to 9 pm at Tom Ryan Park. The Percolators and GB Leighton will be performing on stage. There will be food, drinks, and activities for the kids.
