Executive Summary
Council is asked to approve a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license for the Church of St. Timothy’s annual carnival.
Background
Cathleen Sullivan, applicant for Church of St. Timothy, has submitted a special event application to hold a two-day carnival at the church on September 9 and 10, 2022. The event will run until 10PM both evenings and will include music, food, and alcohol service, which requires approval of the requested temporary liquor license. The applicant has deposited the $50 license fee and liquor liability insurance certificate for this event naming the city as additional insured. Approximately 3,000 people are expected to attend this event.
