2021 Third Quarter Donations



Executive Summary

Council is requested to formally accept donations made in the third quarter.



The police department has received donations from members of the community as well as local businesses. The list of donors, amounts, and intended purpose are attached.

Financial Impact

Allows the City to fund programs or activities outside of budgeted appropriations.


Public Outreach/Input

On behalf of Council, a note of thanks will be sent to donors.

Adopt the resolution below.

WHEREAS, the City of Blaine is generally authorized to accept donations of real and personal property pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 465.03 et seq. for the benefit of its citizens, and is specifically authorized to accept gifts.


WHEREAS, the persons and entities on the attached report have made contributions as shown in the report; and


WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of the donations, if any, are also listed in the report; and


WHEREAS, all donations have been contributed to the city for the benefit of its citizens, as allowed by law; and


WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is appropriate to accept the donations offered;


                      NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Blaine City Council accepts the third quarter donations.
