Executive Summary

The Council is asked to approve a temporary road closure for the Blaine World Fest on Town Square Park Drive.

Background

The Blaine Parks and Recreation department will be holding their annual World Fest celebration at Tom Ryan Park on Saturday, September 11. To provide a safe environment and accommodate the Food trucks and other activities, we are requesting permission for the road closure of Town Square Drive. Staff will coordinate the closure with Public Works.

Staff Recommendation

By motion, approve the temporary road closure of Town Square Drive from 108^th Lane NE to the corner of Town Square Drive NE and Town Square Drive NE on Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 8 AM to 6 PM.
