Council is asked to approve a temporary on-sale intoxicating liquor license for the VFW’s July 4th celebration.
Background
Aaron Niznik, Sgt. John Rice VFW, has submitted a special event application to hold a one-day July 4th celebration at the Blaine VFW on July 4, 2021, from 12PM until 8PM. The event will include music, outdoor grilling, and alcohol service, which requires approval of a temporary liquor license. The applicant has submitted all required documents for the liquor license, including a certificate of liability insurance naming the City as additional insured. Approximately 150 people are expected to attend the event.
