Executive Summary
Council is asked to approve vending truck licenses listed below. These licenses will allow applicants sell ice cream or similar treats from a mobile vending truck on city streets.

The following individuals recently submitted online applications to renew their existing vending truck license:

Mr. Hasan of Blaine Anoka Ice Cream has submitted an online application. The certificate of insurance and the retail mobile food handlers license through the Minnesota Department of Agriculture are pending. The license will be issued once all required documents have been received.
Mr. Kazar of Faisal Ice Cream has submitted an online application with all required documents included.
The Blaine Police Department has completed a background investigation for both applicants and found nothing to prohibit issuance of the licenses. If approved, the vending licenses will be effective May 1, 2021 through April 30, 2022.
