Title

93^rd AVENUE/I35W SERVICE DRIVE SEWER REPAIR UPDATE

Background

Staff will present the City Council with an update on progress toward the final repair of the collapsed sewer at the intersection of 93^rd Avenue and the I35W Service Drive.  Material procurement, permitting, and work scheduling are already taking longer than originally anticipated.  Completion will go into early March. 

Staff will provide pictures of the work to date, a revised construction schedule, and costs incurred so far and estimated costs for completion.

We anticipate a need to extend the Emergency Declaration for an additional period at the March 2, 2020 Council meeting.

Recommendation

This item is informational. Staff will answer question and continue to keep the City Council apprised of schedule and costs as the repairs are completed.
