OPEN SPACE NAMING OF JEWELL CIRCLE AND 131^ST AVENUE

Background

Staff is looking for a recommendation from the NRCB for the naming of two open space locations.  The first is off of Jewell Circle and the second is off of 131^st Avenue.  Staff will bring up the mapping application during the meeting to show both open space properties.

Staff is recommending the name of the Jewell Circle Open Space to be Sunrise Ponds after the elementary school.

Staff is recommending the name of the 131^st Avenue Open Space to be Woods of Legacy Creek after the development.

Once names are recommended staff will order signs to post up at the trail entrances to both sites.

Recommendation

By motion, recommend naming of both Jewell Circle and 131^st Avenue Open Spaces.
