APPROVE OF PROPOSAL BY TIERNEY TO PROVIDE AUDIO/VIDEO EQUIPMENT AND INSTALLATION AT THE MARY ANN YOUNG CENTER IN THE AMOUNT OF $69,416.04
Background
City Staff has solicited proposals to provide audio/video equipment for the new Mary Ann Young Center. Staff has received and reviewed two proposals and is recommending accepting the proposal from Tierney to provide and install the audio/video equipment in the amount of $69,416.04.
This equipment includes TV’s for the senior lounge, the activity rooms and informational monitors at the two main entrances. It also provides a large screen monitor and wiring of the Multi-purpose room/Dining room for enhanced sound for meetings and presentations. The proposals include staff training time for the new equipment.

Tierney $69,416.04
Marco $89,614.76
Tierney is the current State Contract provider for this equipment and the funds for this proposal will come from the funds budgeted in the Capital Improvement Fund for this project.
Recommendation
By motion, Accept proposal from Teirney for Audio/Video Equipment and Installation at the Mary Ann Young Center in the amount of $69,416.04.
