APPROVE A TOBACCO AND TOBACCO PRODUCTS LICENSE FOR AWAD COMPANY, 10102 SUNSET AVE NE
Background
Antoine Awad, applicant, 12745 Leyte Street NE, Blaine, MN 55449, has submitted an application for a tobacco and tobacco products license for Awad Company at 10102 Sunset Avenue NE (currently Olson’s Market). The applicant is currently in the process of purchasing the business and the property and has met the licensing requirements by completing all necessary forms and depositing the fee with the City.
The Blaine Police Department has conducted a background investigation on the applicant and found nothing to prohibit issuance of the license. Approval of the tobacco license will be contingent a Certificate of Occupancy Walk-Through Permit by the Building Inspections and Fire Departments.
Recommendation
By motion, approve a tobacco and tobacco products license for Awad Company at 10102 Sunset Avenue NE.
