CITIZEN RECOGNITIONS
Background
Citizens from the community will be present to be recognized for their actions in 2018 that resulted in saving a life/assisting the Blaine Police Department officers.
Two citizens will be presented a “Citizen Recognition/Life Saving Award” for their quick response at the Anoka County Airport on August 23, 2018, when they dragged a burning victim to safety before first responders arrived on scene.
One citizen will be presented a “Citizen Recognition Award” for helping officers detain a combative suspect, which directly benefited the public safety efforts of the members of the Blaine Police Department.
