APPROVE TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE FOR WORLDFEST
Background
Worldfest is an annual event sponsored by the City Parks and Recreation Department. To help facilitate a safe environment for the festival goers, it is proposed to close a small portion of Town Square Drive in front of City Hall for the event. The closure will be from 7:00AM to 6:00PM on Saturday, September 14, 2019. Please see attached map.
The Parks and Recreation Department will coordinate the closure with the City’s Public Works Department.
Recommendation
By motion, approve the temporary road closure for Worldfest on September 14, 2019 from 7:00AM to 6:00PM.
