Background
A petition received June 14, 2019, was submitted to the City by Troy Halverson, requesting vacation of drainage and utility easements to relocate an easement due to a lot split. The Engineering Department has reviewed this request and concurs with the vacation.

By motion, adopt the Resolution.
Body
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition dated the 14th day of June, 2019, requesting vacation of drainage and utility easement of Lots 7 and 8, Block 2, The Sanctuary 8th Addition; and
WHEREAS, the required public hearing notices were published and mailed, and the public hearing was held on the 5th day of August, 2019, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Blaine as follows:
1. The vacation of drainage and utility easement at Lots 7 and 8, Block 2, The Sanctuary 8th Addition, as recorded in Anoka County, Minnesota, is hereby approved as described:
Lots 7 and 8, Block 2, THE SANCTUARY EIGHTH ADDITION, according to the recorded plat thereof, Anoka County, Minnesota; and as described in Document 2071059.001 as recorded in Anoka County, Minnesota.
The east 4.00 feet of the west 5.00 feet of Lot 7, Block 2, THE SANCTUARY EIGHTH ADDITION, Anoka County, Minnesota, which lies northerly of the south 10.00 feet thereof and southerly of the following described line:
Commencing at the northwest corner of said Lot 7; thence South 16 degrees 39 minutes 37 seconds West (assumed bearing) along the westerly line of said Lot 7 a distance of 158.71 feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence South 70 degrees 40 minutes 45 seconds East 20.00 feet and said line there terminating.
