Background

A petition received June 20, 2019, was submitted to the City by Tyler Edwards, representing Menard, Inc., requesting vacation of drainage and utility easements to allow for stormwater features covered by easement to be relocated.  The Engineering Department has reviewed this request and concurs with the vacation.

Recommendation

By motion, adopt the Resolution.

Body

WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition dated the 20th day of June, 2019, requesting vacation of drainage and utility easement of Outlot D, National Market Center; and

                     WHEREAS, the required public hearing notices were published and mailed, and the public hearing was held on the 5th day of August, 2019, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard.

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Blaine as follows:

1.                     The vacation of drainage and utility easement at Outlot D, National Market Center, as recorded in Anoka County, Minnesota, is hereby approved as described:
