APPROVE OF WORKSTATION IMPROVEMENTS AT PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $29,744.75

Background

Included in the 2019 Public Facilities Budget was $30,000 for workstation improvements and office furniture for the 2^nd floor of Public Works.  These improvements will provide for a more efficient workspace for existing staff and provide for future expansion.

Currently staff are using various desks and chairs that have been “re-purposed” from other facilities and additional workspace is needed.  Staff has received proposals from two firms who provide the majority of our office furniture.

Innovative                                                               $29,747.75

Parameters                                                               $36,941.10

Staff is recommending approving of the workstation improvements at Public Works in the amount of $29,747.75.  This proposal falls within the amount budgeted for this project.
