2019 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT UPDATE

 

Background

The City of Blaine has initiated a large number of Capital Improvement Projects in 2019.  The purpose of this item is to provide an update to the City Council on the status of all these projects including: project summary, budget, schedule, and potential issues. 

 

Attached are written project updates for all Public Works Capital Improvement Projects in excess of $1M.  These one page updates are intended to give the Council a very high level overview of each project including; milestones, issues, general schedule, and a budget summary.

 

Written project updates are being provided for:

•                     Water Treatment Plant 4

•                     Well House Improvements

•                     SCADA Improvements and Lift Station Upgrades

•                     Tournament Players Parkway

•                     Lever St Area Improvements

•                     Cloverleaf Parkway Improvements

•                     Jefferson St Improvements

•                     Meter Replacement Project

•                     Pheasant Ridge Parkway

•                     Lever St - North of 125th

•                     CR14 - Lexington to Opal, Including Lever St Signal

•                     City Hall/Police Department Remodel and Third Floor Finish

•                     Mary Ann Young Center

 

Staff will be prepared to go provide additional detail and answer questions on any of these projects at the Workshop.
