APPROVE A CARNIVAL LICENSE FOR AMUSEMENT ATTRACTIONS AT AQUATORE PARK FOR THE BLAINE FESTIVAL, JUNE 27 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2019
Background
William Purdy, owner of Amusement Attractions, has submitted an application to hold a carnival at Aquatore Park on Thursday, June 27 until 4PM to 11PM; Friday, June 28 and Saturday June 29 from 10AM until 11PM; and Sunday, June 30 from 10AM until 6PM for the Blaine Festival celebration.
The applicant has deposited with the City a $500 license fee, a certificate of liability insurance naming the City as an additional insured, and all other application materials. A background check has been completed by the Police Department and no problems or complaints are on file that would prohibit the issuance of a license. An inspection will be completed by the Deputy Fire Marshal during carnival set-up prior to release of the license.
Recommendation
By motion, approve the carnival license for Amusement Attractions at Aquatore Park, June 27 through June 30, 2019.
