LOT 2, BLOCK 1, SHAMROCK INDUSTRIAL PARK,

VACATION NO. V19-02

 

Background

The City received a petition on May 13, 2019 from Bill Keegan, representing Dem-Con Companies, Inc., requesting the vacation of drainage and utility easements for the purposes of re-locating storm water features covered by easements. The applicant represents 100% of the affected property abutting this easement.

Recommendation

By motion, adopt the Resolution.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition dated the 13th day of May 2019, requesting vacation of drainage and utility easement of Lot 2, Block 1, Shamrock Industrial Park; and

 

                     WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has reviewed the petition and recommends that the City Council hold a Public Hearing on the requested vacation.

 

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Blaine as follows:

 

1.                     The Council will consider the petitioned vacation of easements for the property owner.

 

2.                     A Public Hearing shall be held on the proposed vacation at 7:30 PM on the 8th day of July, 2019 and the City Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and vacation as required by law.
