Title
EASTSIDE PARK TENNIS COURT
Background
The Eastside Park Tennis courts are in very poor condition due to soil under the courts. Staff has resurfaced and crack sealed the court a few times and it doesn’t seem to be helping the surface of the tennis court. Staff has also been receiving calls from residents about the condition of the court the last few years as well.
Staff is looking for direction on what course of action should be taken with the Eastside Tennis Courts.
Option 1: Remove Eastside Tennis court and do not replace. The City does have courts located at Austin and Centennial Green Parks which are in close proximity to Eastside Park.
Option 2: Remove Eastside Tennis Court and replace it in another location within the park at a cost estimate of $100,000.
Recommendation
By motion, direct staff on how to proceed with the Eastside Park Tennis Courts.
