APPROVE RELOCATION OF THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE ENTERPRISE LICENSE FOR MASSAGE OFF CENTRAL, 2331 108^TH LANE NE, #140, BLAINE, MN 55449

Background

Lori Brouillette, owner of Massage Off Central, has informed the City that she will be relocating her Therapeutic Massage Enterprise from its current location at 11806 Aberdeen Street NE Suite #180 to space within Ackerman Acupuncture at 2331 108^th Lane NE #140.  No change in ownership structure of the enterprise has occurred and the two licensed massage therapists will be relocating with the business as well.  All forms and fees were submitted with the 2019 renewal and a copy of the lease is on file for the new location.  Section 22-431(c) of City Code prohibits transfer of an enterprise license without complying with requirements of the original application, therefore staff is requesting approval of this enterprise relocation.  Ms. Brouillette plans to open at this new location on April 15, 2019.  The Police Department has been informed of this requested location change and has no concerns at this time; a compliance check will occur prior to license renewal for 2020.

By motion, approve the relocation of a Therapeutic Massage Enterprise License for Massage Off Central to 2331 108^th Lane NE #140, Blaine.
