LOT 3, BLOCK 1, BLAINE’S NORTHERN ASPHALT, VACATION NO. V18-10

 

Background

A petition received November 26, 2018, was submitted to the City by Fernando Vega of Lino Lakes, MN requesting vacation of drainage and utility easements to allow for construction of a new building and parking lot.  The applicant represents 100% of the affected property abutting this easement.

Recommendation

By motion, adopt the Resolution.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition dated the 23rd day of November 2018, requesting vacation of drainage and utility easement of Lot 3, Block 1, Blaine’s Northern Asphalt; and

 

                     WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has reviewed the petition and recommends that the City Council hold a Public Hearing on the requested vacation.

 

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Blaine as follows:

 

1.                     The Council will consider the petitioned vacation of easements for the property owner.

 

2.                     A Public Hearing shall be held on the proposed vacation at 7:30 PM on the 17th day of January 2019 and the City Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and vacation as required by law.
