Background

A petition received September 7, 2018, was submitted to the City by Joshua Metzer, representing Lennar Family of Builders, requesting vacation of easements to allow for the subdividing of the property into the plat of Wicklow Woods.  The easements will be replaced as needed in the new plat.  The Engineering Department has reviewed this request and concurs with the vacation.

Recommendation

By motion, adopt the Resolution.

Body

WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition dated the 7^th day of September 2018, requesting vacation of a permanent easements for road purposes as described in Exhibit A, as recorded in Anoka County, Minnesota; and

                     WHEREAS, the required public hearing notices were published and mailed, and the public hearing was held on the 18^th day of October, 2018, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard.

                     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Blaine as follows:

1.                     The vacation of easements is hereby approved as described:

                     That part of the permanent easements as described in Exhibit A, as recorded in Anoka County, Minnesota
