Background
James Webber, Blaine Entertainment Partners Inc. dba The Fun Lab, has submitted an application for an amusement center license to operate an indoor amusement center at the former Gander Mountain location at 10650 Baltimore Street NE.
The applicant has submitted a fee of $1,050.00 for 60 devices and has submitted all necessary documentation required by City ordinance. Approval of the amusement center license is contingent upon Council approval of the Conditional Use Permit as well as a Certificate of Occupancy. The applicant intends to open in October 2018 and will be submitting an application for a wine and beer license prior to opening.
Hours of operation will be Monday through Thursday 11am-9pm, Friday 10am-11pm, Saturday 9am-11pm, and Sunday 10am-8pm and may open earlier depending on demand. Proposed games will include a combination of arcade games and redemption games such as air hockey, basketball game, motorcycle racing game, cranes/claw, etc. Their attractions will include things such as Ballocity, Trio Tech Dark Ride, Elevated Ropes course, Mini Bowling, Clip n Climb climbing wall, Laser tag, Laser Maze, Hologate VR.
