Update on 2040 Comprehensive Plan

Background

Representatives from WSB will be in attendance to present the key components to the City’s draft 2040 Comprehensive Plan.  WSB has been working with City Staff and all citizen boards and commissions over the last year and has developed a draft plan that incorporates the comments and suggestions of these groups.  Once the Planning Commission has reviewed the draft plan on this evening’s agenda, an open house will be held on March 22^nd for the Community to review and comment on the draft plan.  That open house will be held in the Cloverleaf Commons room from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The Planning Commission will once again review the plan and hold a public hearing on April 10^th (tentative).  The City Council is scheduled to review and act on the plan on May 3^rd (tentative), with formal submittal to the Metropolitan Council after that date.
