APPROVE A TOBACCO AND TOBACCO PRODUCTS LICENSE FOR E-CIG ZONE, 1061 109^TH AVENUE NE

Background

Taleb Wazwaz, applicant, 10126 Florida Circle N, Brooklyn Park, has submitted an application for a tobacco and tobacco products license for the E-Cig Zone location at 1061 109^th Avenue NE.  Mr. Wazwaz is purchasing the existing business.  The applicant has met the licensing requirements by completing all necessary forms and depositing the fee with the City.

The Blaine Police Department has completed a background investigation on the applicant and found nothing to prohibit the issuance of a tobacco license.

Approval of the tobacco license is contingent upon a Certificate of Occupancy Walk-Through Permit by the Building Inspections and Fire Departments.

Recommendation

By motion, approve a tobacco and tobacco products license for E-Cig Zone at 1061 109^th Avenue NE.
