GRANT A PERMANENT UTILITY EASEMENT ON OUTLOT A, SUNRISE OAKS TO CONNEXUS ENERGY
Background
Connexus Energy has asked for a 15 foot wide easement to install a power line through the City owned property of Outlot A, Sunrise Oaks. This power line would provide a link from the dead end line on Rodeo Drive in the Sunrise Oaks development to the Sanctuary Preserve development.
Outlot A is City of Blaine open space. The power line would be installed underground by directional boring, resulting in only temporary construction disturbance to the open space during installation. The easement gives Connexus Energy the right to install, access, and maintain the power line.
Recommendation
By motion, authorize the Mayor to sign a permanent utility easement on Outlot A, Sunrise Oaks to Connexus Energy for electrical services.
