AUTHORIZING PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $13, 602 TO METRO CITIES FOR 2017 ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES
Background
The Metro Cities is a service and lobbying organization for cities in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Membership dues are an annual expense, and the amount charged is consistent with 2017 budget appropriations. This year’s dues represent a 1% dues increase. Individual city dues are assessed based on a percentage of League of Minnesota Cities dues, adjusted for population changes.
Recommendation
By motion, approve the payment in the amount of $13,602.00 to Metro Cities for 2017 membership dues.
