Background

On January 7, 2016 the City Council authorized the City Manager to retain LGN and its government relations team to assist with the City’s legislative bonding request for the 105^th Avenue project for a cost not to exceed $30,000. On August 4, 2016 the Council authorized an extension to the contract with a total cost of $9,000.

Due to the bonding bill not being approved at the last Legislative session the City will need to extend the contract with LGN to continue to work with their government relations team.

Recommendation

By motion, authorize the City Manager to extend the contract with LGN at the rate of $3,250 per month for January 1-December 31 of 2017 for a total project cost of $39,000.
