Title

UPDATE FROM BARR ENGINEERING ON WTP #4 AND WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS

Background

This is an information update for Council on the status of Water Treatment Plant (WTP) #4 and water system improvements.  Brian LeMon of Barr Engineering will provide the update and will be available to answer Council questions.  Attached is a memo to answer previous questions that Council asked at the last workshop that Barr attended.  Also attached is a draft water system CIP and final pre-feasibility report on WTP #4.

The next step in this process is to complete a pilot study of the selected media and filtration process for WTP #4 and incorporate the results into the feasibility report.  We asked Barr Engineering for a quote for the pilot study and feasibility report.  Their quote is attached and is on the Council agenda for approval to keep this process moving forward.
