BODY CAMERAS
Background
Just this last spring the Legislature addressed a number of areas related to body-worn cameras (BWC). The changes helped address concerns involving Data Practices, the status of the data, who has access to the data as well addressing procedures for managing the data and equipment. City Council will be briefed on these legislative changes, will be given information as to what it may take for the Blaine Police Department to implement BWCs, and to have discussions on potential costs for such a program.
