Background

Aaron Niznik, club manager/responsible party for Sgt. John Rice VFW Post #6316, has filed an application for a Temporary On-Sale 3.2 Percent Malt Beverage license for their July 4^th Celebration to be held on July 4, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in their parking lot.  The applicant has deposited with the City a $50 license fee and a certificate of insurance (liquor liability) covering this event.  The City has been named as an additional insured on the certificate of insurance.

Approximately 150 people are expected to attend the event.

Recommendation

By motion, approve the Temporary On-Sale 3.2 Percent Malt Beverage license for Sgt. John Rice VFW Post #6316, July 4^th Celebration, located at 1374 109^th Avenue NE, Blaine.
