APPROVE A CARNIVAL LICENSE FOR AMUSEMENT ATTRACTIONS AT AQUATORE PARK FOR THE BLAINE FESTIVAL, JUNE 26 THROUGH JUNE 28, 2015
Background
William Purdy, owner of Amusement Attractions, has submitted an application to hold a carnival at Aquatore Park, June 26 from 5:00 p.m. until midnight, June 27 from 10:00 a.m. until midnight and June 28, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. for the Blaine Festival Celebration.
The applicant has deposited with the City a $300 license fee, a certificate of liability insurance naming the City as an additional insured, and all other application materials. A background check has been completed by the Police Department and no problems or complaints are on file that would prohibit the issuance of a license. An inspection will be completed by the Deputy Fire Marshal during carnival set-up prior to release of the license.
Recommendation
By motion, approve the carnival license for Amusement Attractions at Aquatore Park, June 26 through June 28, 2015.
