Background
Project No. 11-16 includes asphalt pavement replacement, gravel shouldering, storm drainage improvements, culvert replacements and cleaning, traffic control signage, and appurtenant construction on Davenport Street from 93rd Lane to 91st Avenue and Isanti Street from 93rd Lane to Radisson Road.
 
The estimated total cost of the project is as follows:

The total project cost indicated in the Feasibility Report was $631,500.00.
 
The Assessment Roll has been prepared consistent with the Feasibility Report.  Of the total cost, the amount to be assessed is $232,711.75.
Pavement Management Program Funds will contribute $294,749.51.
 
Recommendation
By motion, approve the resolution.
 
Body
WHEREAS, a contract has been entered into for construction of asphalt pavement replacement, gravel shouldering, storm drainage improvements, culvert replacements and cleaning, traffic control signage, and appurtenant construction in the following described area:
 
Davenport Street from 93rd Lane to 91st Avenue
Isanti Street from 93rd Lane to Radisson Road
 
AND WHEREAS, the estimated construction cost for such improvement is $397,605.50 and the estimated expenses incurred in the making of said improvements amount to be $129,855.76 making the estimated total cost $527,461.26.
      
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Blaine as follows:
 
1.      The estimated total cost of such improvement is hereby declared to be $527,461.26.
 
2.      The amount to be assessed is hereby declared to be $232,711.75. Pavement Management Program Funds contribution is $294,749.51.
 
3.      The City Manager shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece, or parcel of land within the district affected without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection.
