Title
APPROVE A PREMISES PERMIT FOR CHARITABLE GAMBLING
FOR BLAINE'S BLAZIN 4TH, AT CLIVE'S ROADHOUSE BLAINE,
10400 BALTIMORE STREET NE, #200, BLAINE

Background
Linda Brausen, Gambling Manager for Blaine's Blazin 4th, has submitted an application for a new premises permit to allow charitable gambling be conducted at  Clive's Roadhouse Blaine, 10400 Baltimore Street NE, #200.   The Blaine's Blazin 4th also has a permit at Blainbrook, making this their second location.

The Gambling Control Board may not issue a new premises permit for charitable gambling within a city unless a sponsoring organization obtains approval through a resolution from the City Council. A charitable gambling applicant has sixty (60) days from the date of their application to present such a resolution to the Gambling Control Board or otherwise forfeit their gambling activities.

The $250 investigation fee has been deposited with the City and the criteria set forth in Ordinance No. 88-1108 (regulating lawful gambling) has been met.  An investigation has been conducted by the Blaine Police Department on the gambling activity of Blaine's Blazin 4th and did not find any problems which would disqualify them from being approved.
