Chairman Jeff Bird will present Sue Walthour & children Ann and Steve with a Plaque honoring Jerry which will hang outside of the City Council Chambers.

This plaque honors the memory of Jerry Walthour. Jerry served on the Blaine Park Board for 13 years including 6 years as the Chairman. Jerry's fingerprints are all over the park system in which Blaine residents enjoy today. Jerry always made sure that all residents had a chance to give their input on any park project the board was working on. Jerry was known as a conservative person with a great sense of humor. He always made sure the board stayed on track and met the needs and desires of the Blaine Community.
Jerry passed away February 7, 2013 at the age of 60 years old. Jerry's legacy will always live on through the many parks he helped create. The City of Blaine and its residents will always be grateful for Jerry and the years of service and dedication he gave to the Blaine Park Board.
