APPROVAL OF A CARNIVAL LICENSE FOR AMUSEMENT ATTRACTIONS, AT AQUATORE PARK, FOR THE BLAINE BB4 CELEBRATION, JUNE 28TH THRU JUNE 30, 2013
Background
William Purdy, owner of Amusement Attractions, has submitted an application to hold a carnival at Aquatore Park, June 28th through June 30, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. for the Blaine BB4 Celebration.
The applicant has deposited with the City a $300 license fee, a certificate of liability insurance naming the City as an additional insured, and all other application materials. A background check has been completed by the Police Department and no problems or complaints are on file that would prohibit the issuance of a license. An inspection will be completed by the Deputy Fire Marshal during carnival set-up prior to release of the license.
Recommendation
By motion, approve the carnival license for Amusement Attractions at Aquatore Park, June 28th through June 30, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m.
