PROCLAMATION IN RECOGNITION OF JIM RISTINE

Body

WHEREAS, Jim Ristine is a long time resident of the City of Blaine; and

      WHEREAS,  Jim has been a dedicated husband to Judy, father and grandfather; and

      WHEREAS, Jim Ristine and his family have given over 20 years of service to the City of Blaine working with the Blaine's Blazin' 4^th / Blaine Festival, Blaine Royalty Pageant; and

WHEREAS,  Jim Ristine was a Boy Scout Master for over 10 years, Junior Achievement Advisor for 5 years, and Blaine Ambassador Program, it included boys, girls and young women; and

WHEREAS,  Jim has served the Blaine's Blazin' 4^th / Blaine Fesitval, Blaine Royalty Pageant as Representative to the City of Blaine and the State of Minnesota; and

WHEREAS, Jim and his wife Judy served as role models to many generations of young people in the City of Blaine and the State of Minnesota; and

WHEREAS, Jim has raised his family - sons Brian, Mitchell and Scott - whom all graduated from Blaine High School, along with three grandsons - Isaac, Sam and Braeden, and has served as a role model for how a person should live their life; and

WHEREAS, Jim's service has made the City of Blaine a better place to live.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Blaine City Council hereby proclaims June 29^th, 2013 to be “Jim Ristine Day” in the City of Blaine.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Seal of the City of Blaine to be affixed on this 20^th day of June, 2013.
