Background
The Public Hearing was conducted on January 5, 2012. No questions from the public were received. The vacation of drainage and utility easements will allow the northeast section of Lot 11 to be split off by a waiver of platting and added to Lot 12.
Ordinance No. 11-2238 was introduced for first reading at the January 5, 2012 Council meeting and is presented at this time for adoption.

THE CITY OF BLAINE DOES ORDAIN: Chapter 194 is adopted as an Ordinance of the City of Blaine to read: (Added portions are underscored and deleted portions are shown in brackets with overstrike.)
Chapter 194 - Vacation of Drainage and Utility Easements
194.01 - That part of the drainage and utility easement as dedicated on Lots 11 and 12, Block 2, Harpers Street Woods, Anoka County, Minnesota, described as follows: The north 10.00 feet of said Lot 12 lying west of the east 5.00 feet and lying east of the west 5.00 feet thereof.
AND
That part of the south 5.00 feet of Lot 11 said Block 2 lying adjacent to the north line of said Lot 12 and lying west of the east 5.00 feet of said Lot 11 and lying east of a line 5.00 feet east of the northerly extension of the west line of said Lot 12.
194.02 - Said vacation has been made after Notice of Public Hearing in conformance with Minnesota Statutes and pursuant to Chapter 12, Section 12.06, of the City Charter of the City of Blaine.
