Background
A petition dated March 11, 2015, was submitted to the City by Gorham Development, LLC of Andover, Minnesota requesting vacation of easements for drainage, utility and public street purposes granted in Document Nos. 219177 and 944239. This vacation is being requested in order to replat the property. New right-of-way and easements will be dedicated with the new plat being proposed as Wagamon Ranch. The property owners signing the petition represent a majority of the affected property owners abutting this easement.

Recommendation
By motion, adopt the Resolution.
Body
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition dated the 11th day of March, 2015, requesting vacation of easements for drainage, utility and public street purposes granted in Documents Nos. 219177 and 944239; and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has reviewed the petition and recommends that the City Council hold a Public Hearing on the requested vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Blaine as follows:
1. The Council will consider the petitioned vacation of easements for drainage, utility and public street purposes for the property owner.
2. A Public Hearing shall be held on the proposed vacation at 8:00 p.m. on the 7th day of May, 2015, and the City Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and vacation as required by law.
