AUTHORIZE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH PRO-TEC DESIGN, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $11,158.97 FOR A SECURITY SYSTEM AT THE LEXINGTON ATHLETIC COMPLEX, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 12-14
Background
Staff received two (2) quotes for a security system for the Lexington Athletic Complex, and is recommending acceptance of the proposal from Pro-Tec Design, Inc. in the amount of $11,158.97 which includes all the video software, nine (9) 1.3 megapixel mini-dome cameras with IR illumination, installation and support system for 1 year. Pro-Tec Design is a State-bid contractor and their proposal includes state-of-the-art equipment.
Recommendation
By motion, authorize the City Manager to enter into contract with Pro-Tec Design, Inc. in the amount of $11,158.97 to provide a security system at the Lexington Athletic Complex.
