APPROVE THE RENEWAL OF AN OFF-SALE LIQUOR LICENSE FOR CENTURY LIQUORS
Background
On June 21st council approved an Off-Sale Liquor license for Erica Lentsch, the applicant for Century Liquors, 4355 Pheasant Ridge Drive, #124. At the time of application the clerk's office was notified that the closing was scheduled for Friday, June 22nd. On Monday, June 25th staff was informed the closing did not take place as scheduled due to the buyer's failure to secure a lease agreement for the day of the closing.
The State Alcohol and Gambling Enforcement have been notified of the situation. The AGED are willing to allow a management agreement between both parties to allow the completion of the sale transaction or the approval of Mr. Ly's Off-Sale Liquor license. In the event the sale does not take place, the State will be revoking Ms. Lentsch's buyer's card and license.
At this time, the current owner, Seuchia Ly, 11732 Arnold Palmer Court NE, is seeking renewal of his Off-Sale Liquor license.
