Background
A petition dated July 26, 2012, was submitted to the City by Mathew J. Frisbie of Frisbie Architects, Inc. requesting vacation of drainage and utility easements. This vacation is being requested in order to combine Lots 1 and 2, Block 1of The Lakes of Radisson Thirtieth Addition into one lot for one building. The applicant is a single property owner who represents 100% of the affected property abutting this easement.

Recommendation
By motion, approve the Resolution.
Body
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition dated the 26th day of July, 2012, requesting vacation of drainage and utility easements for Lots 1 & 2, Block 1, The Lakes of Radisson Thirtieth Addition; and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has reviewed the petition and recommends that the City Council hold a Public Hearing on the requested vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Blaine as follows:
1. The Council will consider the petitioned vacation of drainage and utility easements for the property owner.
2. A Public Hearing shall be held on the proposed vacation at 8:00 p.m. on the 20th day of September, 2012, and the City Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and vacation as required by law.
