Executive Summary

The City of Blaine received a request on April 7, 2021, from Kristi Jorgenson, representing Arko Companies, requesting temporary removal of parking restrictions on the south side of 94^th Lane and the west side of Davenport Street in order to allow parking on those streets June 8-11, 2021.  Arko Companies is hosting a costumer appreciation event and expects a need for additional parking to accommodate their customers. 

Background

City Council authorization is required for the temporary lifting of parking restrictions.  City Council has previously authorized similar temporary lifting of parking restrictions for similar events for other businesses in this area.

By motion, authorize the temporary removal of parking restrictions on the south side of 94^th Lane between Baltimore and Davenport Streets, and the west side of Baltimore Street between 94^th Lane and 93^rd Lane, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, June 8-11, 2021.
