Background
A petition date November 5, 2012, was submitted to the City by Capstone Homes of Ramsey, Minnesota requesting vacation of drainage and utility easements. This vacation is being requested for the replatting of the existing town home lots into single family lots. The applicant is a single property owner who represents 100% of the affected property abutting this easement.

Recommendation
By motion, approve the Resolution.
Body
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petition dated the 5th day of November, 2012, requesting vacation of drainage and utility easements for Lot 17, Block 1 and Lot 10, Block 2, Shadow Ponds; and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has reviewed the petition and recommends that the City Council hold a Public Hearing on the requested vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Blaine as follows:
1. The Council will consider the petitioned vacation of drainage and utility easements for the property owner.
2. A Public Hearing shall be held on the proposed vacation at 8:00 p.m. on the 3rd day of January, 2013, and the City Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and vacation as required by law.
