Background
The City of Blaine and LELS (Law Enforcement Labor Services) representing the police officers have reached agreement on the following two-year contract for 2014 - 2015.

2. The City monthly contribution to the cafeteria plan for 2014 for was increased by $30 to $990 beginning on January 1, 2014. The Union has agreed to begin that contribution on July 1, 2014 for their members.
3. The Union has agreed to the compensation rates set forth in the contract for 2013 until July 1, 2014.
4. The City agrees to contribute $1,020 toward insurance for 2015.
Recommendation
By motion, ratify the Police Officers contract between the LELS Local 165 and the City of Blaine for calendar years 2014 - 2015.
