Title
APPROVE 2012 PORTABLE RESTROOM PROPOSAL FOR PARK LOCATIONS FROM JIMMY'S JOHNNYS, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,092.50.
Background
Staff requested proposals for portable restroom services for 2012 park locations. Included in the proposal request were weekly service, bi-monthly service, emergency service and handicapped facilities. The total expenditure is based on 52 units and an average of special cleanings, emergency service calls, and basic services, although additional expenditures may be required due to vandalism and other special cleanings or events. Three vendors replied to our request and are listed below:
Biffs $22,858.00
On-Site Sanitation $21,450.00
Jimmy's Johnnys $20,092.50
This expenditure is budgeted in the Park Maintenance Fund in the Rentals-Other Equipment account.
Staff is recommending Council approve the 2012 Portable Restroom service to Jimmy's Johnnys for $20,092.50.
Recommendation
By motion, approve the 2012 Portable Restroom Proposal for park locations from Jimmy's Johnnys, Inc. in the amount of $20,092.50, to be funded from the Park Maintenance Rental Fund.
