Background
This agreement with Barr Engineering Co. is for construction related engineering services related to the construction of wells 18-21, temporary chemical feed building and altitude valve for tower 4. These services involve such things as onsite construction inspection, review of shop drawings, coordination with the Minnesota Department of Health and other tasks as listed in the proposal. This work is not included with the design engineering services done under previous agreements with Barr Engineering Co.
Recommendation
By Motion, authorize the Mayor and City Manager to contract with Barr Engineering Company in the amount of $137,000 for construction services related to the Northeast Wellfield in accordance with their proposal dated November 1, 2017.
